Mountain bike at Mont Chantecler in Ste-Adèle, Québec

Mont Chantecler is great for skiing during winter. In summer you can practice mountain biking and hiking. Dogs are also accepted but must be tied up.

There are a lot of different trails, but one route I like to do is to go up the mountain all the way to the top, and then slowly go back down the trails. This way your hike is split in half and you can take a break at the top to take in the scenery.

There are normally a lot of people on the trails around 11am. It is therefore good to go earlier, or a bit later, in the afternoon to avoid encountering too many cyclists on the trails.
