Organized by the Race Across Series crew (presented by Decathlon), the Race Across Québec (RAQ) is arriving in a big way for anyone looking to push their limits, rack up the miles, and take in the scenery.
From the rolling hills of the Eastern Townships to the shores of the Gaspé Peninsula, tracing the St. Lawrence River and finishing in Lanaudière, buckle up and strap in tight: an epic adventure awaits!
What is the « Race Across » ?
Dates : 13-23 August of 2026
Here, the event runs on a semi-supported format:
- On the road: You are self-supported with your GPS track. It’s entirely up to you to manage your pacing, snacks, hydration, and power naps whenever fatigue hits.
- At the life bases: Strategic, fully-equipped checkpoints featuring hot meals, showers, cots, medical support, and charging stations for your gear (GPS, lights, phone). This is also the only place where friends and family are allowed to lend a hand!
- Live GPS tracking: Every rider carries a live GPS tracker. Your family, friends, and volunteers can follow your dot moving across the map 24/7.
5 challenges: from the “short” 200 km ride to the 2,500 km monster.
You don’t need to be superhuman on a bike to join the party: there are distances to suit every rider, available in Solo, Duo, or 4-person Teams.
(Note: for the 1,000 km and 2,500 km, organizers require proof of long-distance experience, just to make sure everyone is truly ready for the challenge).

Starting from the Bromont National Cycling Centre, heading through Chaudière-Appalaches, completing the grand loop of the Gaspé Peninsula via Carleton and Mont-Joli, rolling back past Québec City, and finishing up in Terrebonne.
